The bottom left- This is the DNA double stranded. we have represented the phosphate groups with purple knots and the sugar and phosphodiester bonds with yellow lace. The gummy teddy bears represent the the bases; adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine.
The yellow dolly mix represent methyl groups binding to the DNA.
The jelly babies represent the histone proteins which the DNA wraps around- this is now represented as pink lace.The green dolly mix represents an acetyl group. As can be seen on the histone proteins there is a 'tail' this is where the adeptly group binds to.
The collection of four histones represents a nucleosome. This finally supercoils into chromes with other proteins that are not shown but is represented at the top right of the picture with laces.
