The trip up to the Hunterian Museum to celebrate pathology week was a really great experience. I enjoyed the mixture of lectures and group discussion. For me, I really benefited from being in a mixed team of individuals from different schools and being able to see their thought processes and how they came to their opinions. In my group there was many varying views around our ethical question which surprised me but also gave me the opportunity to both debate and learn more about my own opinions. The group discussions highlighted that questions surrounding ethics are complex and often sensitive topics and that there really is no right and wrong answer. I also really enjoyed reporting back what our group had been talking about to the lecture hall and hearing how groups had tackled their different questions in a completely different way to what I would have thought. The experience was really interesting and the only thing that could have improved it further would have been a longer slot to look around the Hunterian Museum!
